Founded in 1980 by Vitor Manuel and Maria de Lurdes Domingues , Casa Azul opened its first shop at the interior of Valença’s fortress, which is nowadays on of the most emblematic buildings of the historic city centre.
Started as a decoration articles’ activity, it has progressively become an art of home textiles 95% made in Portugal. Behind this art there is a constant determination about searching and developing new products with a high quality and design levels and competitive prices counting, as always, on the main national fabricants.
Nowadays, Casa Azul has three shops – two of them in the historic city centre and one in Valença’s commercial area – 400 square meters of home inspiration. Recently, on of the historic city centre shops has been transformed in a bed and bath only shop.
With more than 1500 products Casa Azul is constantly receiving new articles and new collections, developing a constant feeling of curiosity in our costumers, who frequently visit us.
To preserve that curiosity and go along with the technological development we have created an online shop, making possible and easier the knowing of our products wherever our costumers are.
